There’s a feeling out there. It comes and goes, and often with woes, but it is most commonly instigated by a song. Normally, it’s a song that that unclogs your arteries and pumps your body full of so much adrenaline that you’ll be glad you wore jeans that day. This is one of those tunes. It’s called “Fauser”.
Bursting out of the Nashville scene with 12 arms swinging comes Diarrhea Planet; a six-piece beast with rock and roll in it’s blood and destruction in it’s itinerary. The bio on the band’s blog states that they aim to “put the backbone back into rock and roll.”
I fucking believe it. They released their first LP, Loose Jewels, on Infinity Cat last September, and will be playing a few dates at SXSW next week. Their live shows are rumored to be bone-breaking and heart-shaking experiences saturated in pure rock and roll goodness, so if you get the chance to see these guys in the bloody flesh, you would be a fool not to take it. Grab “Fauser” and another track of theirs below.
